Agriculture and Livelihoods

  • Distributed over 5000 assorted seedlings (Fruit trees, ornamental and vegetables) to people of Unity state 2014 and ongoing. This is supported through CLIP Poverty demonstration Garden in Rubkona bridge
  • Donated and planted over 1000 trees in Rubkona market in partnership with Rubkona youths in 2020
  • Clip poverty owns a demonstration farm site for production of seedlings and crops for promotion of practical engagements during capacity building  
  • Trained 60 youth on fishpond construction and management 2018 – 2019
  • Trained 16 youth on small commercial farming technics 2018 – 2020 “ongoing”
  • Established 4 acre fruits, soil enhancement and conservation, timbers, ornamental and medicinal garden in Bentiu 2011 – 2012.
  • Over 250 clients have had firsthand experience in establishing nurseries and planting of trees.
  • Implemented 6month project titled enhancing youth livelihoods in Ganyliel and Nyal of Payinjiar county June 2021 to December 31st Funded by DT GLOBAL
  • Implementing 6 month project Jan 22 to July 31st 22 funded by DT GLOBAL. Project titled enhancing youth livelihoods in Leer and Mayendit.    
  • BMZ Special Fund Food Insecurity; empowering communities through sustainable bio-intensive farming to improve food production, nutrition and enhance livelihoods July to December 2022. This was funded by GIZ.
