CLIP Poverty Organization partnered with UNESCO to support the South Sudan National Youth Union (SSNYU) in developing a comprehensive strategic plan aimed at empowering youth and women to lead peace initiatives across the country.
As part of this project, CLIP Poverty facilitated all aspects of implementation including mobilizing youth and women, coordinating logistics, and supporting the work of a UNESCO-hired consultant to guide the strategic planning process.
The initiative, titled “Youth and Women Leading Peace in South Sudan,” brought together diverse participants to actively engage in discussions, workshops, and planning sessions. By ensuring inclusive participation and smooth facilitation, CLIP Poverty helped SSNYU create a robust framework that strengthens youth leadership, peacebuilding, and national development efforts.
This project reflects our commitment to empowering communities, promoting youth and women’s participation in decision-making, and supporting initiatives that build lasting peace in South Sudan.
