Radios distribution in Nyal and Ganyliel with donation from DT Global Shejeh Salam USAID 2022

As part of our ongoing efforts to foster peace and strengthen community resilience, CLIP Poverty Organization with support from DT Global Shejeh Salam USAID recently distributed radios to households in Nyal and Ganyliel and other locations in Payinjiar county.

In many remote areas, limited access to reliable information can fuel misunderstandings and tension. By equipping families with radios, we are ensuring that communities can:

• Access peacebuilding programs that encourage dialogue, reconciliation, and social cohesion.

• Stay informed with accurate updates on health, education, and livelihoods.

• Hear messages that promote gender equality, inclusion, and non-violence.

• Receive timely early warning messages and humanitarian alerts.

This initiative plays a crucial role in reducing isolation and building trust within communities. By connecting households to radio programming, we are not only bridging communication gaps but also empowering communities to participate in peaceful coexistence and collective decision-making.
